Multiple exposure 35mm film photography by neuro divergent autistic artist and architect Troels Steenholdt Heiredal, showing his neuroqueer view constructing new worlds from the existing one

Visual Description: Four exposures of the cross streets along 3rd Avenue in Manhattan, New York City, USA, 2014. To the left trees and buildings are mixing, with the vertical lines of the frameshifts. In the center, two views down the center of the street, upside down upon each other, almost cancel each other out but leaves behind a vertically staggered image of buildings and trees. At the top of this are the backs of two upside-down cars and in the top right corner is a mail truck turned 90 degrees on its side and merged with a red brick building, upside down to the truck. The color scheme is yellows, greens, and red as the stronger colors and some light blues fill in.

2013-ONGOING // 35MM MULTIPLE EXPOSURE // NEW YORK CITY [USA] // TOFTLUND [DK] // MEXICO CITY [MX] // COPENHAGEN [DK] // HONOLULU [USA] // BUENOS AIRES [ARG]

The 35mm color film is exposed 4 times: first traditional landscape, then portrait turn turned left, then landscape upside down, and finally portrait turned right. All exposures are made straight down the street, having the road at the bottom, the sky above, and flanking each side with buildings. When turned four times this conceptually leaves the center empty. But as with everything in life, small unintended misalignments inserting the film and other acts of chance transforms this work into a spinning version of a new city.

Immediately to the right of the houses are two traffic lights on a pole, also at 90 degrees to the landscape format, with both lights showing red. At the left side of the band is a snowflake start visible. At the furthest right side, is one dark line with a multistory house, right side up. The rest of the photo is slightly faded in intensity. Showing on the right side the view down a street with highrises in the back and a leafless tree to the right. Visual Description: 35mm multiple exposed photo in landscape format. The center is empty, with five-story buildings around it, the buildings perpendicular to the four different sides of the photo, making them spin around the center. In the middle a row of street lights is visible and at the end is a tower with a green copper roof. A triangle at both upper concerns shows the sky with light clouds. The colors are generally orange/yellow, dark brown, and blue.

Visual description: 5 individual 35mm multiple exposed photos on portrait orientation stacked closely together to form one visual band. Each photo contains multiple exposures shot of the streets in Toftlund, a village in Denmark. To the left in the photo, a row of Danish flags are visible at 90 degrees to the photo, and a series of single-family houses. There are many trees in all the images and mostly single-family houses, but also a few two-story houses and a yellow warehouse to the right of the center. The sky is visible in multiple places and is typically blue with clouds. The general colors are dark reds, blue, yellow, and yellow-tinted white.
