CHARLOTTENBORG SPRING EXHIBITON

We have a body. With this body we relate to the world. In this body we move around in the

world.

How to draw movement? When on a train, we move very fast from one place to another,

even though our bodies move very little. Still the very movement of the train affect ones

body, the train starts and stops, turns and jumps. All these small fragments of the movement

are perceived by our body.

As the train moves through space, I note this movement with the lines. The final drawing

becomes a map. A map of the space moved through. A map of the time passed through. A

map of the incidents along the movement. No two trips are ever the same.

The movement drawings are different series of drawing exploring time, space, movement

and the body. It is an archive of movement.

If you are interested in acquiring some of the drawings, please find my contact in the top left menu.

The series was selected for the 2013 Spring Exhibition
